There is a natural separation between us and the people of the Bible that exists as a result of living thousands of years after they did and in places different from their own. This natural separation often causes us to read their words and envision their lives from our personal context instead of theirs, which lends itself to the possibility of misunderstanding and misapplying Scripture. Our goal is to help bridge that gap by reaching back into the context of the people of the Bible in an effort to better understand who God is and what He has called us to.
